For those who came in late .... Rookie to biz class outed CX J pax as a bunch of unfriendly DYKWIAs. The AFF DYKWIAs performed a ritual stoning of the sinner. End of story.

And then trollcat... sorry, topcat surfed in and continued where the OP left off.

Yeah, probably time for the mods to stick a fork in this thread, it's done.

Wow, aren't we a sensitive little bunch. Sorry for having an opinion folks, I'm outa here back to the real world where everything is not peaches & cream.

What that mantra that's often trumped about.. Love it or leave? I think that's usually quite a simplistic view and right up there with flag waving patriotism..

What do you mean by 'a whole better class of people'? I hope I read it wrong because flying J surely doesn't make you or anyone else any better then people who fly Y.

Yeah. Look at me, I'm hardly a better class of people!! :-)

I think your daughter might be pulling your leg a little :)

There is no direct correlation between the seat row printed or attached to an overhead locker, and the allocation of that locker space to passengers or seats. Lockers within a class on an aircraft are shared space between all passengers in that class of travel.
In economy no one should be allowed to put more than 1 bag in the overhead bins. Solves carryon issues.

If you read my post I specifically said "when I am in another country", not on board an aircraft. You haven't noticed Australia bowing to anyone??????????? Where the hell have you been. If you haven't noticed what has been going on lately then there is no point conversing any more. Next thing you will be telling me that Rudd & Gillard were great PM's
The logic goes if you ignore any issues around you then there are no issues.

Wrong. People are finally waking up. The deception is over.

Err...it was a joke, Joyce!! You can meet a lady and a gentleman in any walk of life - and pigs in all & any of 'em;)

I am pig ! Oink

As an HR Manager, I'm seeing Jackson having more that one conversation about sexist language in his future if he works in a corporate environment. The language and decriptors are from the 1970s. (Can you tell I just finished Workplace Violence Bystander Training).
Pardon?

There wasn't many Chinese on board; mostly Australian ( Though I can completely understand this angle, transiting in Beijing last year). I am proud that most Australians are down to earth, maybe a little racist at times(haha). I will try the Europe route, for some reason the Australian people on the European routes are a lot cooler, and from MELBOURNE :)
Fancy your pulling that card.

If you actually find an Australian who lives in Melbourne, please let us know.
