I think the 7 day quarantine (at least in NSW) will be gone before the TT border opens.
I also think that even if it were possible you would need to state on an arrival card from NZ that you had spent the previous 14 days there.
I agree the 7 day quarantine is just a very temporary measure until it’s killed all together will probably end up test and release at an absolute maximum.
The government(s) is/are just baby stepping people so they don’t shriek too much.
It looks like they're already going to trial shorter Q periods in Vic for essential industry such as supermarkets, food supply, medial, etc. Too many people out for too long at the moment placing too much strain on the system. If that works it's logical they will extend it to others.
Plus is highly unlikely anyone is paying much attention to them anymore anyway. Especially now so many people are double vaxxed.
Massive drop off in people checking in, in NSW to avoid any iso - I’m sure that is happening everywhere. People are completely over it.
