The triple points bonus for Q4 07 looks wrong on my account..

For example.

Qualifying Stay 2000 pts.
platinum bonus 1000 pts.
q4 triple points/miles 2007 4000 pts.

Total 7000 pts.

How does triple 2000 = 4000? that was double when I was at school.

All my Stays have the same calculations and 90% were booked over the web.

triple 2000 = 6000 points, which is the 2000 points + the 4000 points that have posted.

It is correct...you have received triple the points you would normally have for the stay i.e. 6000 (2000 + 4000) pts. instead of 2000 pts.

But it was actually a quadruple points promotion if you booked online. The previous posters have highlighted the entry that is missing, "book online quadruple bonus".

Very easy set of points (although, I did say that it's hardish to earn elite status in PC - don't want them tightening up earning ) I was actually targetted too, so the points should post without any dramas.

PC will easily earn another Freddy this year. They really are the most superior hotel elite scheme I know of -- even though their lower end hotels are very indeterminate quality at times!

Well I think it is too easy to earn status and as I hardly ever lie....

While it is easy to earn, it is countered somewhat by the fact that status in PC gets less than status in other chains
