Problems attaching images

Is anyone having problem with adding photos to posts? Currently oversees trying to upload photos from my phone, but it just keeps saying error with post but no further info.
Did you try resizing them? (Make them smaller file size?)

On Pixels, this setting breaks AFF compatibility:

Just took a photo with this disabled, then upload to this post. Same error

I just did a search, apparently Google Photos does not even have resize function?

I was going to do the review on Asiana, but it's been 3 days, and I know that the longer I leave it, the more likely I would forget the details, and less likely to bother...

I've had the problem a few times with my new iPhone.

I got around it by calling up the pic on the screen, snapshotting it and uploading the snapshot. Apparently snapshots are much smaller than pics directly from the camera and AFF site likes them better.

My hack posted up thread is better for iPhone. Email the picture to yourself and when you press send you get the option to set the picture size. A 4GB file can easily be shrunk to 0.5GB (or smaller) without losing too much quality.

I don’t know if Android has the same feature?

This is not built into Android as such, Android doesn't control these things, it's up to the e-mail application or the like of OneDrive.

This is also good, but I'll need to investigate as to which one is easier logistic wise.

Thanks for all the comments, I'll do some test tonight.

For what it's worth, internet here in Korea is so fast, it's fast even in my dodgy hotel.

Sth Korea announced it would commission a 100Mbps wireless internet at the same time Julia Gillard announced Australia would develop a fast wired network. That was back in about 2009(?). I think the S.Koreans got the better network.

Yeah but by snapshotting the pic I do the whole thing from the phone without using email. Just call up the pic, snapshot it, upload to AFF, delete snapshot. All done in less than a minute and no email.
