Two things about my comment, and it was also directed at the quote above yours, was that the message I got from them was that the US had the worst record in the world, and then the 'known' comment was tossed in as well. Patently, the US is far from having the worst record in the world, and 'known' cases would apply to most other countries as well.If you don't test enough, use faulty test kits, or you test wrong people, you don't know how many are/were infected.
If there is no concerted effort for consistancy of reporting (and no relevant testing/diagnosis) then you don't know how many related deaths.
Allegedly both the above is occuring/occurred in many countries.
Oh! and besides the inconsistencies and inaccuracies; then there is the political fudge factor to the figures in some countries.
