Yeah Ive seen that 20-30% figured being bandied around before so will be interesting to see if it does end up at that price.The convenience and time-saving of a non-stop flight to the likes or London and New York will come at a cost. Qantas has suggested the Project Sunrise services will carry a premium of "20 to 30 per cent" compared to stop-over flights which break their journey at Singapore or Los Angeles.

I can definitely see the attraction of non stop flights for some people but of course for the folk in the rest of Australia we still need a transit somewhere to get to LHR, it’s either a transit at an Australian airport and pay $8-10k with QF or a transit in DOH/DXB and pay $6-7k with QR/EK. For us in ADL it’s a bit of a no brainer especially when the airport renovations are complete
