I’d be tempted to do a swap, but what I really want, is a black tag… I’m just not paying $76 for one ;)

And not overly keen on paying $50 for a red one.

Alot of the red tags you see on ebay would be mainly from staff.. Mostly all QF staff received one as a 'gift' a few months ago.

I still think, at $50, the Red ones will be the rarest tag of all!! :p

How satisfying to attach the red tag to cabin luggage and parade through the domestic J lounges. I salivate at the prospect of placing my hand luggage in the overhead bin of the first row of domestic economy with the red tag hanging out.

It is almost as satisfying as pulling out the Woolworths EDR CC to pay for a business lunch with senior execs.

$135.83

Yes that is the price that a pair of WP NGCI bag tags have just sold for on ebay?

Surely it would be much cheaper, to achieve the same look, by applying tippex to the red bit on the PS tags? Only $48.00 for a pair of PS tags.

Time to dig out my, only slightly used, QF J PJ's. Anyone interested in a pair of paper underpants I had to wear on a sales call to a Nestle chocolate factory in 1991?

Do they have chocolate stains on them?

Whilst I understand that QF cant be held accountable for all of the Q tags sent out, and what the recipients do with them, as an 8 year SG who is still waiting to receive them after months and months of waiting, I find this beyond irritating. QF have handled this rollout appallingly badly and the delays and excuses are simply laughable.
What's worse is that QFF staff are completely indifferent. IMO They should not be selling them until ALL eligible customers have received their entitlement. Just my 2p worth.

Hear hear. For what it's worth, you're not the only one. I've been either WP or SG for over 10 years (SG at the moment) and still waiting for my NGCI kit. Another person in my household, who just barely made the PS level, got their kit FIVE MONTHS AGO (November) !!!

And I agree - there should be no selling of tags, or sending out replacements or upgrades, until the roll out of the first round of kits to ALL those eligible (CL, WP, SG, PS) is completed.

2p worth? Are you residing in Australia? Because I seem to recall that it has been worked out that people whose address is not in Australia are not getting the tags.

I am residing here and nothing. Will be doing my flights next week without them. Not really an issue but as mentioned above it is bad form to start selling them whilst there are eligible customers around who haven't received theirs yet

I think they’d be making all the different coloured versions of tags at the same time, and now they’ve probably got a healthy stock of 'Red' ones that they can start selling.

As they’re not selling your Silver/Gold/Platinum/Black tags, it’s not really directly impacting your lack of a delivery, which is a separate issue, and does need to be rectified, but it is a separate issue.

2p because i'm English but now live in Australia, so I do have a valid Australian address and have had for several years now. My SG kit always made it safely to the UK, so I really don't see any reason why the new kits are getting lost!
But thankyou for your interest and possible explanation as to why I and others are still waiting. If only Qantas was as interested......

it was only a thought clearly not a good thought. Qantas interest? well that is another while thread.

And 2p is still, just, worth more than 2c. ;)
Oh and that explains the whinging. :p

I'm preparing for the day when we pass parity with the pound. I'm all set to buy my wheelbarrow to take to the ATM!!!! :)

Saw that these were 2-for-1 at the QANTAS Club. $50 for 2 seems to be what most people are asking for them on eBay, etc...

I'm an Aussie living in UK with a UK address and I recieved my tags no problem (QFF silver)
