Thanks for that. 👍
I was under the impression the seat map was still displayed , even if full.
I have had instances where one QF cabin is blocked by QF and therefore not available in EF. Probably when cabin largely full but leaving some wriggle room for checkin staff to manage any key issues (eg. babies/children).

I've noticed QF11 on Wed July 10 and the return QF12 on the same date have been zeroed out in expert flyer. Yesterday when I checked, there was plenty of availability (I was keeping an eye on loads for upgrade chances). Does this mean it's likely going to be canceled? Wonder when Qantas will let us know...

any update?

One person on FB flying SYD- LAX got rerouted on EK via DXB.. First Class ticket so limited the options.

OQH. It was diverted back to SIN doing July 7's QF1. Ouch.

Looks like it is still there.

I know that person too, and he did very very well to get put on EK in F, even if the long way round. Imo totally winning imo

QF2/08 July ex LHR also cancelled.
You'd be a bit miffed if they put you on BA to SIN rather than SQ! Can you ask and is it down to the airport or does anyone know its a strict BA only policy ?

(assume availability comes into it as well of course, just wondering about the QF policy)

Airline partners first, then OW carriers, then other carriers. In that order for airport rebooking. Also depending in connections and other various factors too,

Just at Changi - VH-OQH still sitting around and at least outside, no one working on Reginal Ansett. Btw, just realised that this is the same A380 that also did the Baku excursion around Xmas 2022.
