Had a look, but couldn't see anything in Torres Strait (unless I looked in the wrong spot). It really is a shame they don't offer more regional activities and tours, there's a whole swath of things waiting to be explored out there :(

I just booked a transfer for the weekend, actually 40c cheaper than direct with Airport Con-X-ions as they dont charge a CC fee and I get 80 QFF points, and 30c dearer than the public transport option.

Awesome, comes in very handy for some spectacular scenery tours in & around Cape Town! Just left Kruger NP & I'm on the lookout for my cousin the Leopard....... All the other cool cats came out to purr but the Leopard. Might just have to book another tour to a private reserve.

Is it possible to book as a JASA eg. PER-MEL then an airport transfer to enter the competition ?

I used this to book two Great Barrier Reef boat trips this week. I'll report back how long it takes for the points.

One bonus for some people may be that they accept AMEX with no surcharge.. Most of the operators themselves don't seem to accept AMEX or surcharge it.

Just looked at them for MEL - the private arrival transfer (VHA car or similar) is about half price!!

Edit: oh wait, it's not - the per person rate (which is one third of the total) is half price. The total is about 50% more expensive and you have to pay the total (3 pax) regardless of how many are travelling.

I think you have to use the activity before points post.

we did one on 05/06

As long as you entered your membership number at the time of booking online, points will be awarded at least 6 weeks after the activity has been fulfilled. If this is not your experience, please contact our friendly Frequent Flyer team on [email protected] or call 131131 for assistance. :)

Hi Red Roo
I've had an ongoing discussion with one of your FF team members who has tried to be helpful, but I don't have a resolution yet. I have a couple of thousand points owing from about 8 weeks ago. The FF team tell me as it is not "Qantas" I booked with but Viator, I must contact Viator. I've contacted Viator the only way they allow (through their website) but they have not replied in a week.

As far as I'm concerned, I booked this on Qantas.com/activities, so Qantas is responsible. Do you have any ideas on how we can get this sorted?

Thanks for your help.

I am in the same boat, not thousands of points though, pretty poor !

Which means I will, in the future, be in the same boat as Viator came up on my card statement when I booked through Qantas Activities. My activity is not until the end of October though, so maybe they will have ironed out these issues by then.

This is becoming circular. Viator replied (after a second prod) and said "The only mileage Viator processes is for American, United, and Delta - and only for bookings placed directly on Viator.com. We would recommend getting in touch with the customer service for the Qantas site for more information and assistance."

Red Roo - over to you please as the Qantas Frequent Flyer team say they can't help... although I did send them a follow up with Viator's response this morning.

Thanks for following up with me. I've replied to your private message. :)
