Qantas Business Class meals & menus

View attachment 28281
My special meal on HBA-SYD. I was not the only one.

Rarified air of (business or economy)class meal enhancement. So rarified one cannot help to think ..... But one can't think ....endless loop.

There was no service recovery, apart from an apology.

I will be writing to QF today, and although I will not be asking for anything, it will be interesting to see if anything is offered.

My bet is (based on personal past experiences) QF will probably throw some points your way accompanied by an apology.

Breakfast this morning was a choice of cereal or eggs (poached) and sausages with tomato & spinach. We both had the hot option and Sue got a bottle of Sab Blonk for her birthday.

The hot offering was great. --- as was the service.

On the flight itself I was offered yoghurt, which I declined as I found it too tart when I had some for breakfast. At my prompting I had some slices of bread and butter. The FA also found a small chicken toasted sandwich.

I was quite hungry as I had only had yoghurt and fruit on the previous flight (7am) so was looking forward to a substantial meal.

:(
Please let us know how it goes.

Fixed - you're welcome. :) Sauce looks a bit gluggy in the photo; hope it tasted alright.

Shhh... you'll give them further ideas / validation to remove French bubbles from the lounges. ;) :p

Breakfast CBR-SYD:

I guess that's not much to wolf down in 25 minutes or so. Wow. I would have just expected a small bowl of cereal or Bircher muesli.

AM Snack: SYD-HBA:

Was that the light alternative or the "best" option?

It was not gluggy at all. I was worried about it being too sweet but it was actually very nice. Great service from th4e CSM as well.

I doubt it - in fact the Burge is a large improvement on what I saw last time domestically in J.

There was a continental option.

The other option was poached eggs and sauteed mushroom with herbs but I was rather full after a CBR JL breakfast, a CBR-SYD J Flight Breakfast and a SYD JL top off

QF846 last night I was offered chilli con carne or prawns and glass noodle salad, I went for the salad. I was disappointed.
