This was a nice meal, quite tasty and FA even ground some pepper over it for me. White wine went well it with.

Flight: QF769 MEL PER
Service: Lunch (small/main plates)
Meal: Seared Yellow Fin Tuna with Chilli, Coriander and Lime Dressing (small)

-Tasted great, but perhaps too spicy for some (not for me but it was a decent chilli taste).

Fish Pie with Twice Cooked Sea Salt and Olive Oil Potatoes, Pea Purée (main)

image.jpg

-To be honest, the pie was a little bland, but did taste good. Interesting peas, halfway between whole and mushed, lumpy, texture did work somehow though.

Alternative:

Asparagus Soup with Parmesan (small)
Big bowl of Asparagus, Speck and Risoni Soup (main)
Poached Chicken Salad with Green Goddess Dressing (main)
Lamb and Harissa filled Pastry Pocket with Fresh Lemon (main)

Champagne at 7am :-). Always 5pm somewhere

or is it sparkling?

It was definitely sparkling, but I simply couldn't resist :p

Compliments on your photos moa999 - way better looking than mine :D

Waiting for the iPhone AFF app to fix itself before I can do any further uploads, but it seems the Pork Salad/Cheese Box/Soup combo is proving the most frequently encountered meal (crossing Lunch, Refreshment, Supper periods) over the last four weeks.

A few of us were at the Grant Burge Cellar Door yesterday. They sell the Qantas Grant Burge Sparkling piccolo for $8.95. I quite like it.
