Had it in Y on QF7 recently too. Really not distinction between Y, Y+ and J domestic meals other than what it's served in.
Qf policy on cooking steak beings new meaning to the phrase “If it’s mooing I ain’t chewing.” Other airlines can do it restaurant quality, not QF.Pretty sure it was already dead...
Overall can’t really complain. To be honest the highlight was the sourdough and butter!
Looks like it’s been nuked. You sound wonderfully tolerant. The second sentence doesn't really follow the first! The hot dish looks awful.
At least you can tell its a real egg as opposed to the scrambled ones which usually taste powdered.Looks like it’s been nuked.
I don’t eat eggs but those ones look like frisbees
Yes, many of us would have had worse breakfasts than that. Did it taste better than what it looks like?QF673 MEL - ADL STD 0620
Breakfast of fried egg, beans, mushroom and bacon on this early morning departure … Overall can’t really complain.
beef casserole
It tasted OK, but I did not each much ...Which to me, looks like slop.

There is sadly no so thing as a wine list for int J on QF. I wish QF, especially coming from such a major wine country like Australia, would offer a wine list for their int J flights, but all you get is a five-second look at the label when the service comes to you. If your are very lucky, the FAs know what wines are available, but often they have no clue.Does anyone have the wine list for intl J on QF (SIN-SYD)?
They don't list them in a menu, but they are usually passable on the day. Better than the J lounge, but not awesome. I'll note that it's Lallier champagne - or at least it was when I flew up late last month. I haven't find this to be as nice as the Duval-Leroy they were serving for a long while in J. I still weep for the days they regularly poured Billecart-Salmon in QF INT JDoes anyone have the wine list for intl J on QF (SIN-SYD)?
But not on a “premium“ airline which charges a premium to fly in J.Yes, many of us would have had worse breakfasts than that.
