Qantas Business Class meals & menus

QF1922 CBR/BNE 12/2/25

CSM Stefan (BNE based) aboard the E190 had it easy - only 1 other FA and pax load was only 24 (3 in J). We chatted for a bit of the trip, being a night time flight.

Dinner was the pie with mashed potato and I was famished, after arriving from MEL 2 hours before and having a meeting airside but not in the Lounge.

3 options for the evening transcon QF 653, went with the “lamb tagine” with a cous cous salad. Was very enjoyable, nice flavours and very attentive friendly service from the crew despite a fair amount of turbulence until past ADL

Yesterday was downgraded to a 737 MEL-PER on QF773. service and drinks were great but the food was horrible.

Options were Curry Chicken and Rice - obviously only 3 loaded as 3 people in row 1 chose it and my mate in the window was told they had run out
Then Prawn Ravioli and Falafel Salad

I was in row 2 so only had the 2 options left and honestly that Prawn Pasta was the worst thing I have ever eaten, the lady next to me said "I see you didn't like it either" and my friend in 1 said his was like eating porridge. It was also just prawns stacked onto pasta, not ravioli.

I thought I took a picture but sadly not. I've had the chilli prawns a couple times and they were really good but this was like eating rubber bullets with 0 taste, some tomato paste sauce and the pasta was absolute mush. Can say the cheeseburger at Maccas was far better on the way out of the Airport.

Lucky the wonton noodle soup in the lounge was on point prior.
