Qantas Business Class Upgrade - MEL -> SIN

I’m in the lounge. The express pass is handy except I ended up waiting for an entire flight of pilot and air hostess to go through so that was a rather long wait 😂 Next time I’ll just line in a normal line that doesn’t have crew checking in.

Very busy lounge here, tonnes of 🇺🇸

Happy to add to business class menu thread? Where is this

Is there Wi-Fi on QF 37?
Sometimes.

Right now FR24 is showing an a333 for your flight today (no actual plane tail). If it is the a330-300 then no that fleet does not have wifi.

If you get last minute equipment swapped to the a330-200 domestic fleet (often used for MEL -SIN) then that would have wifi for ~5hr until about half an hour past WA's coastline.

(Yesterday for example it was flown by an a330-200 VH-EBC which is a domestic a330-200 and would have had WiFi for most of the flight).

I’d take a a330-300 with no wifi over a domestic A332. I read somewhere about lie flat bed not being on a domestic A332.

Actually in Business the Domestic A332 is the best offering since you have exactly the same seat and IFE as the other 330s but you also have WiFi over Australia. It's in economy that you don't have IFE screens and an iPad instead for IFE.

The main downside of the domestic fleet is that theres only 1 toilet in J instead of 2.

Thanks for your help everyone! My only criticism of Melbourne Airport is Gate 10 is very hidden as most of this area appears to be under construction. Poor signage.

Note reduced content in the IFE on the A332s compared to the A333s.

Was a fantastic flight. 1K seat was amazing, very private. 1A definitely gets more foot traffic to the toilet. ExpertFlyer showed ♿️ for 3E they were in 1E, unless they moved at check-in.

Very good service and good overall. Wished they had the PJ’s in the S/M. Only had L/XL. Was quite nice to not have Wi-Fi so I could be disconnected from the world for a moment in time.

Looking forward to First Class SQ 227 on the way home.

That’s a vacant seat that is accessible. Once selected by any pax it will become a solid blue block.

Fortunately privacy has not been completely discarded to the extent disabled pax are identified on the seat map. :p
