wasn't onboard and on the return journey the Darwin QC had never heard of it!
That seems to be quite common. Whilst I haven't had it yet, I told a family member to ask for it on a recent Qantas flight. It wasn't in the trolley but the crew said to wait a minute and they went and got one from down the back.

They were sitting in 4D and apparently Mr 3D overheard and all of a sudden wanted one 🤣 . Crew said that no one had ever asked for one before let alone a few people.

They've also just released a centenary gin which is available through Qantas Wine - keen to try it as I quite liked their branded modern Australian gin and this one is supposed to be similar

Buying a bottle may be the only way to try some...

I just asked at the Brisbane international lounge and the friendly staff at the bar said they actually had some arrive but it's since been removed and they won't be serving it in Brisbane.

That's a shame. The Qantas media release specifically said it would be available at the BNE international lounge.

I wonder if they'd serve it in QF SYD or MEL lounge. Going there next week. Would like to try it before buying it ...

Removed / Drunk by staff ;)

I recently flew BNE to CNS and found it on tap in the BNE QANTAS Business class Lounge-on tap. Easy to drink but tasted a bit sweet. Light on the bitterness.

It was also on tap at the Sydney Qantas Club last week.

(and also agree with your assessment!)

My question is: would you pay for it?

It didn’t last long - not here today.
