Qantas club complimentary invitation

Hi,

We have 2 x Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations & wonder if someone could help.

Our invitations expire end of June 08, but our next trip is in September.

I have tried the Qantas service centre, plus visiting the Qantas Club lounge at the airport but they said we can't use them past the expiry date & they won't swap (or extend) them.

Would anyone have any invitations that would be valid for September & able to do a swap for us? (perhaps if they were travelling by June anyway)

LOL! I bet Qantas gets it shut down just as quick as other Australian based Qantas Club invitations. Wonder though why they still allow the ones that originate in the UK though!

I ask as I am getting married in January 09 and would like to use the passes on the honeymoon.

Roughly 12 months. (Mine was about 13 months from memory)

Note that it is 1 invite per person.

I have a feeling that the UK Ebay Qantas Club passes are fakes given their easy availability. Saw a lady get turned away in Brisbane the other day. The counter staff said her pass was a good colour copy but apparently without a Qantas hologram.
