Qantas Cricket Safety video

Hooray!
Anything is better that the cricket video.
I recently flew YGK-YYZ on a Beechcraft 1900D. The safety demonstration consists in the co-pilot playing a tape and walking down the aisle to make sure the 18 PAX have fastened their seat belts. No jokes, no celebrities and no hi-five with the captain (I know that for sure because there is no coughpit door on the 1900D:shock:)

Had the new safety video tonight. Was such a delight compared to that darn cricket one. Was glad to see all different types of QF workers on there.

Not much QF flying recently, only saw the cricket video a few weeks ago, and no issues with it. A bit daggy perhaps, but not sufficiently so to actively dislike it. Anyway, guess I won't see it again unless it hangs around another week or two.

thank goodness that video is gone.... i would ignor it completly i hated it that much.

I saw it last night too! I love cricket more than the next guy, but watching that video was painful! I don't mind the new one, it uses people from around the QF business...

Ok I've flown 6 QF domestic sectors this week. All had new video. Such an improvement!

I was on the 108 out of JFK on tuesday and the CC nearest me had obviously seen the new one on his flight over there but OJT still had the old one loaded. When the sound started filtering through the cabin he loudly screamed at his colleague: "Oh no not the cricket video again." So obviously they will be very glad to see the back of it too. Fortunately OQL had the new one loaded for my onward LAX-MEL.

Had the new one on both flights to and from CBR. I like it as well although the voice over sounds a tad robotic at points.

I still think Qantas should get some AFFers as pax for the next video!
