In further on Monday 16 July, QF2016 (Q400 VH-QOP, the 0755 hours from SYD up to WTB) departed at 0835 and was airborne at 0848. Arrival is suggested as 1026 hours, 51 late. The plane had arrived ex DBO on QF2037 at 0742 hours, 17 minutes late. QF2017, the 1005 hours from WTB back down to SYD will be delayed.

Continuing with Monday 16 July 2018, QF23 departed SYD 26 minutes late at 1016. BKK arrival is estimated at 1730, 50 late.

QF76 ex YVR arrived SYD this morning at 0647 hours, 17 late, but VH-OJS then formed QF63 (the B744 at 1055 hours ex SYD for the lengthy flight to JNB) , not pushing back until 1217 hours. Arrival in local time has become 1801, 61 late. QF64 ex JNB will be delayed.

CNS evacuated

Cairns Post online has photos of a long queue outside the airport, but by about 1300 hours rescreening was occurring.

Also on Monday 16 July 2018, B717 VH-YQS on the 1200 'high noon' ADL across and up to BNE (QF1594) was airborne at 130. Arrival is likely at 1539 hours, 49 late.

Continuing with Monday 16 July 2018...

QF19 has often been late in the past week. Departure ex SYD is showing as 45 late at 1255 hours for a MNL arrival at 1905, 35 minutes behind.
...

QF19 departed SYD at 1335 so MNL arrival is projected as 1946 hours, 76 minutes late. For the second time in three days, this flight is an A333 (VH-QPE) that was hours late arriving in SYD on QF130, hence the tardiness for 'the 19.'

QF20 back down to SYD will be delayed.

There must have been delays into MEL this morning. QF415 departed SYD 34 minutes late and arrived MEL 54 minutes late.

Anyone know what happened to Sunday's QF8 DFW-SYD? How does this bode for flights out of SYD tomorrow, specifically QF7 SYD-DFW? I presume they don't have a spare A380 lying around, which route will miss out tomorrow?

Luckily the QF11 tomorrow is a 747, so this should mean everything departs as planned tomorrow. From what I can see it looks to be technical. A part is going up tomorrow on the QF7.

QF108 further delayed (Sun) departure is delayed 24 hours, flow on effect is that Mon departure of same flight is now 8 hours delayed due to crewing.

The overnight delayed QF8 is predicted to depart DFW at 2350 hours on Monday 16 July for a Wednesday 18 arrival in SYD at 0750 (instead of 0605 on Tuesday.)

Similarly delayed QF108 pushed back in PEK at 0003 on Tuesday meaning arrival this afternoon at 1347 hours, 24 hours and 27 minutes late.

On Tuesday 17 July 2018, QF30, the overnight HKG - MEL (A333 VH-QPA) is arriving at an estimated 1108 hours, 213 minutes late. QF29, the 0935 hours MEL up to HKG is predicted to depart at 1300 hours this afternoon with arrival at 2005 hours, 165 minutes behind schedule. This will adversely affect one of the southbounds from HKG tonight.

The crosscountry BNE down to ADL QF1591 (B717 VH-YQT, the 0855 hours that was not airborne until 0948) should arrive at 1146, 31 late.

B738 VH-VZE on QF421 (0930 hours SYD down to MEL) was in the sky at 1023, so arrival is suggested as 1135, half an hour tardy.

QF1 has been delayed till tomorrow lunchtime due to the QF8

Yes, a planned 1200 'high noon' departure, meaning a super early morning Thursday 19 arrival in LHR at 0435 hours instead of 0655 hours tomorrow morning.

As is often the case, no public advice yet as to when (or if) the Wednesday night QF2 will depart. On one occasion a few weeks ago when this occurred, it was cancelled.

Monday QF108 is showing an ETA of 2340 - not sure that this flight would warrant an exemption to the curfew given it was engineering and crewing related delays.

QF1591 from BNE across and down to ADL was late on 17 July as is QF1593 (B717 VH-NXJ). This 1230 hours flight did not take off until 1404, so arrival is estimated as 1609, 79 late.

... QF29, the 0935 hours MEL up to HKG is predicted to depart at 1300 hours this afternoon with arrival at 2005 hours, 165 minutes behind schedule. This will adversely affect one of the southbounds from HKG tonight.'

QF29 departed at 1346 so HKG arrival should be at 2050 hours, 210 late.

A333 VH-QPB is on QF41, the 1345 hours SYD - CGK (often an A332) that took off at 1512 this afternoon. Arrival is suggested as 1949, 69 late, delaying QF42, the redeye back down to SYD.
