A continuing lack of crew for the A220s sees QF1298 MEL-CFS cancelled yet again, today no Dash 8 alternative

From onboard QF797, today’s 1230 ASP-MEL: departure was delayed by just over an hour while multiple cigarette lighters were retrieved from luggage in the aircraft hold, after apparently being spotted on a pre-departure re-check of the screened baggage images.

Was checking if it had arrived LHR so I could watch it land and that’s what came up.
Now due here @ 0945

Was on the ground in IST from 0546 to 0910 local.

Most likely a medical if they land in airports that don’t have QF support- but stand to be corrected on this

I was on QF32 some years ago. We landed in KUL due to storms in SIN where we waited for the storm to clear and get more fuel.
It doesn't have to be a medical for a diversion to somewhere that airline doesn't have "support".

Fun fact.
QF32 used to operate KUL/SIN/SYD many, many, many moons ago.

The mentioned QF32 was on OQA, not long after it returned to service after the incident over Batam.

Maybe not. Now at gate 4 at CBR.. They might let you off to sit in the international lounge area, but there’s no immigration staff on duty. Again Good luck.

QF470 in CBR while 3x737s from CBR to SYD have all left in the last 30 minutes.

Just pulled up to a parking bay. It was quite amusing that the captain halfway through taxiing (it was a long taxi as we had to wait for a slot) came on the PA and authorised everyone to go to the loo (himself included).

Dispensation has been given to EK413 to land after curfew who have just pushed back from BNE. Hopefully you're in the same bucket.
