Qantas Delays/Cancellations

From onboard QF797, today’s 1230 ASP-MEL: departure was delayed by just over an hour while multiple cigarette lighters were retrieved from luggage in the aircraft hold, after apparently being spotted on a pre-departure re-check of the screened baggage images.

Most likely a medical if they land in airports that don’t have QF support- but stand to be corrected on this
I was on QF32 some years ago. We landed in KUL due to storms in SIN where we waited for the storm to clear and get more fuel.
It doesn't have to be a medical for a diversion to somewhere that airline doesn't have "support".
