This delayed QF94 is still delayed to depart 1230 on Christmas Eve at LAX time - maybe it has something to do with AA outage this morning which led to FAA ground stop across USA

There has been an aircraft change. VH-ZNH, which was due to operate QF94 (24/12) is taking the very delayed QF94 (22/12).

As a result, QF94 (24/12) and QF93 (26/12) are both cancelled. ZNA remains unserviceable.

Yeah I saw that too and finally took off at 1318 on Christmas Eve

Mechanical (and sometimes medical) doesn't necessarily put any huge hurry into things. You could, for instance, have an issue with something that will affect a required approach (i.e. Cat II/III), but which isn't required behind you. And that would mean you might not be able to go on, but everything behind you is available. In that case, the best choice is the place from which recovery will be the easiest (i.e. repair, replacement crew, etc).

QF63 has landed back in SYD 9 hours and 20 mins later. Rescheduled for tomorrow morning at 0700. Emergency services were awaiting the aircraft.

They say that the engineer strikes have minimal effects but we're probably seeing the effect right now.

This aircraft is operating today’s QF11 to LAX. The flight has already had 2 delays imposed on it, initially delayed from 17.25 to 19.30 and is now showing a 20.30 departure.

LAX looks like another trouble spot, especially with the current mess of QF94 to MEL last few days on ZNA!!

Yep, keeping in mind that today’s QF93 MEL to LAX is cancelled due to ZNA mechanical issue, some passengers from that flight may have been moved to QF11, if there were spare seats.

QF43 to Bali is also delayed. From 16.30 to 20.30. Looks like A332 rego VH-EBC is operating it, which arrived in SYD yesterday morning at 06.30.
