Qantas Delays/Cancellations

QF94 LAX-MEL cancelled both yesterday (787) and today (a380). Must be creating a quite a bit of havoc

Yes, QF93, the 1200 'high noon' MEL-LAX is cancelled on Saturday 29 March 2025.

This is its second cancellation in four days.

B789 VH-ZNC on QF21, the Friday 28 1620 hours afternoon MEL-DFW is estimated to depart at 0845 hours on Saturday 29.

In more on Saturday 29 March, QF79, the 0925 hours midmorning MEL up to NRT was airborne at 1250 hours. Gate arrival looks like 2040 hours, 165 minutes late.

QF29, the scheduled 1105 hours MEL-HKG is delayed until 1550 hours in its pushback.

B789 VH-ZNC on Friday 28's 1620 hours MEL-DFW took off at 1025 hours on Saturday 30, so arrival is estimated as 0948 hours, 1068 minutes behind schedule. It is then showing as operating QF8, the Friday 2145 hours very optimistically displaying as departing at 1025 hours on Saturday.

This aircraft is forming QF73 on Sunday night. Not looking good for curfew. Best case by my calcs is arrival into Sydney Sunday night as QF8 at 2045, not leaving much margin.

It has been a terrible run since the LHR diversions for both the A380 and 787 fleet. Currently there is an A380 out of service resulting in QF93/94 cancellations and a 787 running almost a day behind (QF21)

Looks like QPF has become u/s in MEL leading to QPI having to be ferried down from SYD to operate the now very-delayed QF29.
