Qantas disguises first class seats as $20 ‘cabin in the clouds’ on Airbnb

That is a bit harsh. Similar things have happened again and again with insiders in the past, in this country and others, the most high profile one being Maccas monopoly competition. That being said, this isn’t some million $ prized competition, the financial stake here is too little to risk one’s job on.
OT, but the mcdonalds monopoly fraud story is very interesting if you need something to read in between refreshing your airbnb page.

it lasted about 10 seconds, I got through to put the dates in then hit request to book and it said unavailable. posted from a different profile....

aarrggh - that's so frustrating for you. I think I feel better not seeing them at all rather than getting so close only to have someone beat me to it!

I was trying to read it and find the dates and stop the auto refresh at the same time and I wasn't quick enough. I was just so shocked to see it I didn't have my game face on yet haha. The profile it came from was called the same thing as the other one but plus $25 instead of plus $20...it was down and the one they came from yesterday is still up.
I bet they are watching the forum and saw us talking about how we knew they were about to be listed when the profile went down so decided to mix it up. Good one guys ;)

Can one person win multiple times?
If you have the points ,Ye

Actually, no. The T&Cs say you can only win once. A previous poster here said they won two listings and had to cancel one.

Of course, if you and your travel companion each had an Airbnb account, theoretically you'd both be able to win one listing..

To the Qantas Boffins....I absolutely ADORE these kind of promos and makes Qantas look fun and innovative. BUT! This would be a whole heap more enjoyable if it was more of a treasure hunt ie with cryptic clues each day to nut out (that people could collaborate on if they wanted) that led you to a webpage with the golden tickets. It seems this promo has kinda been hijacked somehow as the listings last less than a few secs.
