Qantas disguises first class seats as $20 ‘cabin in the clouds’ on Airbnb

Could not agree more!! The long hours searching and stressing for a premium award seat that loyal Qantas frequent flyers go through and they hide available seats on Airbnb? Any wonder people like me have moved away to other programs such as Krisflyer?
I really like the thought and intention behind this promo. It's actually kind of cool. But the 'nuts and bolts' of it aren't really feasible. ie I would like to snag one of these flights but realistically can I (or anyone) fly back from London on Nov 19? As I said in an earlier post the promotion seems to have been 'hijacked' (not a good word in flying sense!) as the listings seem to last less than a few seconds, which isn't normal.

Some certainly must have a lot of time on their hands to do the Airbnb thing chasing QF seats? o_O

I don't think any have even been listed since Thursday? I haven't had much of a chance to monitor it the last two days, but up until now every day there were some released? Wondering what is going on there...

You can't just search for the Qantas profile, but you can link directly to it like I've done above. Once you've got it anything they list on Airbnb (under that account) will show up there. Just doing everyone a favour :)
Sorry, how do you "link" directly to it.....

Um who ever said it was a two week promotion? It seem to have started and ended on a Thursday, last week.
Dialy mail said it... Maybe other websites did too. But yes it seems to have only ran for one week!

Who thinks this will run today? The profile throws up one listing that you can't book.
Previously the profile went down before they put new ones up

I just hit them up on FB and they said it's still running - no answer on the end date (yet) though.

Maybe they keep it running for when people randomly cancel and they re list the seats?? Only explanation I can think of... Especially when they listed several seats daily last week and then nothing last 4 days.
