Person on Facebook just posted that at BNE Intl, QF were giving vouchers out to pax before a Trans-Tasman to buy food from the airport concessions. His AA flight service in J consisted of packet nuts, a sandwich and a Tim Tam.

QF610 MEL-BNE yesterday. Honestly not too bad for a 2-hour flight. Disappointing that MEL-CNS got almost the exact same offering for a much longer flight.

Then this is QF631 BNE-MEL yesterday also. Despite the catering difficulties, this was more than I expected to get considering the circumstances. Turns out MEL catering were loading more food on BNE bound planes to compensate, and I was lucky.

They were also, rather interestingly, serving alcohol on QF610 (left MEL at 0920 and arrived BNE at 1035)
