Qantas DSC October 2024 Offer - book by 31/10/24 & fly 1/11/24-19/10/25

I must say I get rather impatient with all this fight club stuff. AFF is meant to be a forum for sharing tips and tricks about flying better but there’s some here who really wish to keep a good trick to themselves.

in fact, the best trick doesn’t involve making a present booking at all.

I know the techniques and I’m really tempted just to post right out the open here, especially when people are explicitly asking for an explanation of all the wink wink.
I'm fine with what you propose, I've already revealed how to do what I do - I just made the suggestion that they spread the banker bookings around a bit so as it isn't all on the one cheapest route.

It’s Flight club sweet Blackall
It could be a Long Overreach to suggest humourly what it takes to get DSCs

Dang I was going to book another PER-AKL but sadly gone up to 3k return, I guess that solves it for me.

Do flights on Emirates with a Qantas flight number qualify for the double status credits offer?

I completely agree.

My only caveat is I'm not fan of one-post wonders or those who suddenly come out of the woodwork seeking help on the DSC promo. If you've been around and contributed, I have no issue.

It isn't that people don't want to share, because they do. There's just this back of the mind thought that such people as you describe,, or even just readers not posters, will get hold of the non publicised loopholes, promote them for their own benefit elsewhere and suddenly it is captured by people who can put a stop to it.

Bit of an update to my previous post (#103).
I've just finished booking and paying for the DSC earning flights needed to get me to LTG (and P1) before Sept 2025. With some luck, a bit of work and research, and a relatively modest, temporary outlay (work will reimburse me eventually), for around the same cost as a 1 x J RTN SYD/LHR booking I will get over 2,640 SCs, which is enough to get me over the line with a few weeks and a couple of hundred extra SCs to be safe. Perfect timing of this DSC promo means I don't have to do any status runs, don't have to book flights to Blackall, and have fully flexibile J fares booked and ticketed for all my work flights (all domestic) for the next 11 months. So if it all goes to plan, by August 2025 I'll have LTG as well as P1/WP through to Sept 30 2027.

You have done well! I will probably be looking to do the same once I get close enough to LTG.

Don't worry, I don't want to be blackballed 😎. but maybe the 'thing' has a better chance of remaining un-noticed if people don’t keep posting wink wink.
I'll say that when i pieced it together, you couldn't really search for the info directly, but there's more than enough for people to search. A lot of the new people just seem a tad lazy to search - and by search I mean skim through old DSC threads.

I think I only had to skim 2-3 threads to confirm my suspicions. Then test it myself.

Pretty much. Several people were asking questions that had already been answered in this thread.
