I need 130 status credits before 31st March to attain Gold for the first time, with a trip planned for the last week of March. I gain 70 points if I book now, 140 with DSC.

Point hacks must have known something was coming to prep their article? Previously Qantas have announced it on a Weds/Thurs/Fri...

That is getting a little tight for time. If the DSC offer doesn't happen then if you are located on the east coast you can get the extra SC's reasonably cheaply on weekends - things like cheap business class fares between MEL-SYD for 40 SC's etc.

If anyone's totally bored, you can figure out what flights I should take to get 185 SC before end May to requalify platinum.

Bonus points if you can throw a VA flight in there for mr k_sheep who needs one more to get gold on VA ... I'm very happy to send him home a different way

Where are you based, where do you want to go, and do you want to make a holiday out of it or just do a status run? 185 using a DSC offer shouldn't be too difficult.

MCY but happy to go to BNE or hop to anywhere really! Yeah it's not many at all which is why I was thinking something other than the usual QLD milk runs or NZ hops. Was considering south pacific to tick off somewhere new (I've been to New Cal and Fiji only) for a holiday. It is nice to be able to accumulate the SC's without having to do a status run. If someone had of told me that I would reach WP this year I would have laughed at them, but I will on Monday without having done a status run.

You could go VA to BNE then do QF. BNE TO AKL Return via Sydney then on to BNE IN J for 215 SC.

When's the next DSC Promo? = It hasn't been announced yet but expected shortly.
Will I earn DSC on Alliance? = Yes all QantasLink services including operated by Alliance, National Jet Systems, Network Aviation, Eastern Australia Airlines and Sunstate Airlines are eligible.
Where did all the sale fares go? = Sales and DSC/DP promos don't typically occur at the same time.
Has anyone's DSC posted yet? = DSC's typically take a few days after the flight to post however on the first flight of your DSC promos this can take longer up to several weeks.
Does a QF flight number on EK metal count? = Nope (nor do any other QF flights not operated by Qantas or QantasLink airlines see list above).
Don't talk about Fight Club. = Don't know what you're on about .
Come on! I just booked J flights to XYZ :-( = If booked within 24 hours and departing from AU then you might be eligible for free cancellation otherwise too bad, you're subject to full cancellation if you wish to cancel and rebook (a change doesn't count).
Will I earn DSC for flights I booked 3 months ago? = Nope.
Does this mean there won't be another DSC promo in [month]? = Qantas decide and announce the DSC promos and never give any early indication, there is some consistent patterns with one at the start of most years but as with most things in life, nothing is guaranteed.

Non 081 QF ticket stock? = DSC still applies if QF flight number and operated.
Award tickets with Points Club? = Yes eligible for DSC if booked during the time frame.
I have a flight credit is this eligible? = No a new PNR needs to be created and as flight credits are an existing PNR they are not eligible.
Do Qantas flight operated by Finnair count? = Yes as they are a wet lease they do count for this promo.
Do Jetstar flight count? = Nope.
Can I book via a travel agent or Amex? = Yes, they count.

It's the moment we've all been waiting for! Qantas is launching a new Double Points or Status Credits offer at midnight. They've already updated this page of their website with details of the new offer:

Register and book between 12-18 March 2025, and travel between 19 March 2025 - 24 February 2026.

Only Qantas marketed and operated flights will earn DSCs.

Sorry yes that is what I meant - go far on EK metal with a QF ticket - pick somewhere like Morocco or go somewhere outside your comfort zone, or do something that will be the envy of your friends like the mountain gorillas in Uganda.

Not sure if someone else has already posted to this effect, but I can happily confirm that all Fight Club options are in play for this promotion (for those who were doubting this might be the case).

Flights flown on 7/3. SC posted same day, DSC posted this morning.

I mentioned it before, in less obvious terms. On that note QBR did not go through though (there was double QBR points too with this promo).
