Qantas extends status extensions until end June 2023 (previously December 2022)

The only ones I am not sure are excluded are the 100SC from Points Club. They are not mentioned in the example.

The 100 SC rolled over from Points Club Plus aren't eligible to rollover again with status support in the following year, based on my experience on 1 Jul 2021.

You can however 'double-dip' with rolling over both SC via status support and an additional 100 SC if you've earned Points Club Plus in your current membership year. For example, if a Points Club Plus member finishes the year with 150 SC from flying, they will start the following year with 250 SC total - 150 SC status support and 100 SC from Points Club Plus. (again based on my experience last year)

Handy! Thanks for the refresher @sudoer. These two (generous) offers combined should make next year's qualification a lot easier, if QF haven't made any changes since the last round..

In that case, maybe I will try to fly this membership year after all (if I do receive PC+), as it would be DSC in disguise (up to 100 anyway).

It's now after midnight on the 1 March GMT so any timing issues would be well and truly over. I'm not ready to book a flight yet, but if I had been waiting to book something to extend status I'd be very comfortable doing a new booking at this point.

My expired tier credits were correct, so whatever the QF IT problem was, all is right in the end. No roll over SC yet, probably later in the day. 100 SC from points club though.

Even with the 40% rollover and one international return with QR (unfortunately could not book on QF), I figure I will still be around 300SC short to renew next year. Fingers crossed for a DSC.

Yes, got the same message but not banking on it being correct for a while. No SCs from flights taken rolled over as yet. Wonder if anyone else has?

Yeah, just got this email from ol' Olivia Wirth - and I've been extended with no strings djue to my current residency in Aus!

I'd be checking the expiry date of the digital membership card in the QF app to be certain the extension has actually been applied :)

My SCs rolled over late last night. Can confirm that it included DSCs for anyone who was not sure. Given this I think safe to assume the status extension was also successful.

My rollover arrived along with the 100 for points club. But the SC total for status retain is still wrong! Damn you Qantas IT!!

As mentioned earlier, I received 100 SC from Points Club, and now also 500 SC, which is the maximum ”up to 40%” of SC that I had earned up to February 28. That means the DSC counted, but I already knew that from reading QF’s explanation.

Most of my travel for this year was already booked, trying to find a weekend to visit a friend in CBR but with her be in and out of hospital its proving difficult to lock down. I do however need to book xmas flights.

If I want to depart on 28 Dec and return on 3 Jan, am I better to book as two one ways, so that the 28th flight definitely registers as pre 31-Dec ensuring roll-over, or will a return ticket achieve the same?

Same result regardless of how you book

Requires flight to be QF flight no operated by Qantas. Qantaslink is not operated by Qantas. Do those flights qualify?
