Qantas First Class menus

Hi everybody. Does anybody have any experience flying with children in first class? I am travelling with my two children soon (aged 9 and 11) and not sure if I should order them a child’s meal or just leave them to order off the main menu? Thanks!
Have been flying F with mine (now 15 and 10) since our eldest was 6 months.

Unless they have allergies you need to cater for I’d stick with the standard menus. Plenty of choices so that most people (even kids) can find something to eat. Things like the fish are usually easy to separate from the sides & sauces if your kids are particular about those things.

Worst case the crew have always offered to find something else on the plane for them, even if that means they’re having a meal of potato chips in a bread roll… Truth be told that’s probably healthier than the 3 course with wine that the adults are having.

First class menu from yesterday, QF12 LAX-SYD. Loved the Pommery Louise, better than your run of the mill Dom Perignon in my opinion.

Overall, I had a super nice flight. 2 hours delay out of LA but the amazing crew more than made up for it.
