QR does the same until around 1900

They might look at the BA card stock and not like it. (BA CPH-LHR, QF LHR-SIN QF*JL SIN-HND)Surely can’t be denied on a QF flight number. That would be insane!
Could ask the QF lounge at LHR to reprint boarding pass? They might look at the BA card stock and not like it. (BA CPH-LHR, QF LHR-SIN QF*JL SIN-HND)
It looks QF2 was close to boarding for a 740pm departure.Update…no issues getting in at 7pm

Yeah, the DOH boards after 7:30pm at this time of year. Most had left by 7pm. It was genuinely busy.
In my experience QR has the same issue until around the same time.
Wow - that is a new low for sure!I was just denied entry to the QF 1st lounge here in SIN at 4:45pm. Arrived on QF291 and departing on EK355 at 9pm. Told lounge was at capacity due to flight from LHR just arriving and as I was on travelling on EK, would need to come back later. I’m a WP.
Slight change to my transit plans required. Currently in EK lounge, very quiet and food just starting to come out.
*edit I just watched QF2 land. So denied on expectation that lounge would be full?
Wow - that is a new low for sure!
Will have to see how I go next week.
Have QF2 > QF4025 (JL36) on 30th
About to leave CPH on BA805. 5 hours in LHR, then QF2 to SIN.Let us know how you get on, please, Himeno.
It's been mentioned several times here, that if it's full and you are not flying on QF metal, you won't be allowed in due to capacity restrictions.Wow - that is a new low for sure!
I agree <redacted> but OP states a timing of 1645 SIN time. How many QF flights have already landed at 1645 and how full is the lounge at 1645 with QF pax on average <redacted>?It's been mentioned several times here, that if it's full and you are not flying on QF metal, you won't be allowed in due to capacity restrictions.
I suppose the issue would be if the lounge is already "full enough" - as Sprucegoose mentioned - regardless of what flights the pax were on.I agree <redacted> but OP states a timing of 1645 SIN time. How about 3K? I'm travelling from SIN on 3K in March and do expect to be let in to the Qantas FCL. Wishful thinking? The point is if you aren't flying QF, there is a risk you will be turned away.
Is the lounge open then? How about 3K? I'm travelling from SIN on 3K in March and do expect to be let in to the Qantas FCL. Wishful thinking?
3K is in T4. You'd have to check in/drop bags in T4, get over to T1, use the lounge then get the bus back to T4 for the flight. and that's assuming it's a flight in the late afternoon/evening when the QF lounges are open. How about 3K? That one I agree - that is exactly why I am there around 1630 - 1645 (especially when flying MH) when the lounge is generally almost empty. That is why I commented as “that is a new low” when reading that the turning away happened at 1645. There is a quite high chance that the lounge would be rather empty at that time.I suppose the issue would be if the lounge is already "full enough" - as Sprucegoose mentioned - regardless of what flights the pax were on.
