I'm interested in why they don't ping the larger community occasionally. Surely the shotgun approach could net some interesting ideas in amongst the complaining? the closest I've come to this was a cardboard survey I did on a Frankfurt to Brisbane flight. Scored a free pen out of it ...who needs points

My son (almost 30) received an invitation. He said it was limited to 500 people nationally? And a bonus of 1000 FF per month. He used to travel a great deal in J (at the ripe old age of 24) for work and zipped up to Gold for a few years but now back to no status.

I got that email a couple of years ago. The wait list must be very long or get purged every few months, since I have never heard back.

Probably cos you keep re-qual ing plat. Give them a break, credit to AA and get EXP, and then see how they kiss your feet. ;

That's possible. My son was approved and he's dropped status from WP to nada within a couple of years.

Looks like they want a lot of low/non status members. Perhaps we are vocal enough on here and FT....
