Re: Epiqure free membership + offers

Hi samh004 . The port sounds like great value . How do you know its worth $349 .

Re: Epiqure free membership + offers

They had that port on tasting at the wine and cheese night - was excellent, but certainly not worth $350 (no port is worth that much IMHO).

Are you sure that is the one they send as the welcome gift though? Normally the value of the welcome gift is around $80-150.

Re: Epiqure free membership + offers

I got this from the Perth one on Wed night, perwcfreejoin

Expires 7th may

Re: Epiqure free membership + offers

In the magazine, not only do they mention it by name, but the picture is the same as Wines | Qantas epiQure, which says case of 1 for $349. That said I'd still choose the Champagne. Personal preference to a favourite ;)

I just looked at the link you posted ,I'm impressed ! . I think I'll go with it as Mrs Austff is keen on a port with winter approaching . Thanks for the info .

Re: Epiqure free membership + offers

Crickey! I thought it was worth under $100 - thanks for the heads up... :p

"worth" and price are different things.
that's the epiqure price.... notice it's not available anywhere else at any price to prevent comparison? (including the seppeltsfield website)

Couldn't agree more, and noticed this with the help of mr google.

Re: Epiqure free membership + offers

Hmmm when does the port arrive? I joined a week ago and received my first order but no free port.

Pretty sure the free membership does not include the bottle of port.

Re: Epiqure free membership + offers

Yup free membership has no goodies with it.

Re: Epiqure free membership + offers

As nice as the free membership is, I've gone with the port $59 option. Had a bottle when I signed up back in early 2012 and it was worth it. And since I am signing up again using my old man's FF number I thought it only fair that I get him the bottle of port, for which I am sure he will be very grateful when he watches us on Skype drinking it!! :)

Re: Qantas epiQure's new gourmet food range

Sorry RR but my thoughts on epiqure's recent enhancement's would not be considered constructive - and I have already whinged elsewhere so I will stop here.....

Re: Qantas epiQure's new gourmet food range

This week, Qantas epiQure launched a new gourmet food range:

I wasn't sure where to post this (moderators, please move), however I'm keen to hear your thoughts.

Some great fine foods there Red Roo - Qantas this time has really picked the cream of the Tassie produce - Bruny Island cheeses and Woodbridge smoked salmon. (and the prices aren't bad)

I like this new branch of Epicure, so many thanks. (It would be great to have some bonus points offered occasionally, too)

While the items look good, if I'm spending $100 on cheese I want to see and taste it before I spend.

Matt
(And as for the top of the page a chance to win a trip to the Margaret River for a 5 course lunch with food snobs, sorry that type of promotion has zero effect on me buying anything at all as it smells of DYKWIA. I'd rather go look in the Superpit)
