Same - I'll choose the red roo, if given the option...To be honest, I'd prefer it if the roo wasn't green on the card! So glad the lifetime banner stays.

rollover?I'm going to hold off hitting my 5 categories until April, so I can trigger the 50SC in my next membership year in July
I took the gamble it will be a part of my 2022-23 status extn rollover...I'm going to hold off hitting my 5 categories until April, so I can trigger the 50SC in my next membership year in July
rollover?
Is the consensus that it's something we do every membership year i.e. can get 50sc this year and again next year? If working towards LTG then yes, rollover aside, doing it each year would be the way to goI have already maxed out the rollover. I want to push towards LTG so I don’t want to delay getting Green tier till next membership year.
Definitely seems like something that will benefit Qantas if annual. The presence of the countdown to the end of the membership year is a clue that the two are linked. Is the consensus that it's something we do every membership year i.e. can get 50sc this year and again next year? Similar here. Not close to rollover max but close to LTG. The sooner I hit LTG the sooner I'm making the switch to BA.I have already maxed out the rollover. I want to push towards LTG so I don’t want to delay getting Green tier till next membership year.
Stranger things have happened. A portion of my LT SC's are from double counting a few thingsI’m not close to LTG but want to progress as quickly as I reasonably can towards it.
The rollover credits don’t count towards Lifetime Status. That would be double counting.
They’re also colourblind. Our iconic “red” roo.Same here…
And, this is what my digital card looks like, after reinstalling the QF app - still no green roo:

Also can choose a new app Home Screen button design once green as well. Exciting times:

Cheers,

The survey in the QANTAS Wellbeing app is free and the easiest to get. You just have to answer 9 questions and it doesn't matter if you get them all wrong.
Next cheapest would be the $1 for sustainable delivery.
The $25 gift requires giving up 3,200 points but if you fly or have points earning credit cards you should earn those back easy.
You can offset home and car rather than offsetting solar.
Basically it comes down to what value you put on 50 SC or 10,000 points.
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
I had a feeling the FAQs stated that couldn't be claimed. But I may well be wrong as I only glanced over them.is it a gift or donation? Tax deductible by any chance?
I was wondering about this. If +1 & I are a household and we have two cars then what do we offset? If we both enter our household as having 2 occupants and 2 cars, then surely we are offsetting our impact twice? The opposite of double-dipping!Surely, people are just offseting a single person and no car.... Its only a small lie as i do own a car, but live alone. I am annoyed though this figure seems based on how much they can milk from you rather than the reality of living in a locale with already 100% offset electricity, which is what the ACT has done.
Lots of posts here about how to get the 50 SCs for the least cost.
Does anyone think this will actually help the environment?
AFF isn’t representative of the general population. Having said that I think a one-off $1 payment to carbon offset a flight is pretty pointless.Lots of posts here about how to get the 50 SCs for the least cost.

I’d like to do some status runs to help push towards LTG and get Platinum back.I'm waiting for the charcoal tier, for those of us that go on unnecessary status runs.
Oh wait - Platinum is basically charcoal coloured. Yep, that makes sense...
