Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

Has anyone successfully called up and had the flight offset leaf credited? I applied mine after booking and it's been about 3 weeks, not sure if it will need some manual intervention.
Still waiting and my first contact with Qantas was about 6 weeks ago. I feel like they've given up...

The whole Green Tier was a bit of PR machine by QF, it's had it's run in the media, for now they don't care about all this green leaf business.

They'll revitalize it soon at some point with some hoopla. Better chance then to get your leaf action remedied.

It's a bit frustrating seeing other people here have it allocated and others just seemingly kicked to the kurb though but I guess that's reaosnably typical of Qantas' post covid customer service.

Another in carbon offset limbo. Complication is that I cancelled the offset booking, and then rebooked to use that voucher for a flight last week. The offset was not refunded, so assuming it was still valid. but looks like a long wait...

I also have a complication - I requested to offset a flight I already booked (SYD - LAX) for 3200 Qantas points, but the request just sat in 'pending' for 3 weeks before I flew this flight a few days ago. I am now in the USA for the next 6 months with work. I am hoping that they can retroactively apply the offset, but I might be out of luck unfortunately.

I've renewed my membership year and would like the opportunity to get the 5 green leaves again for Green Tier. Has anyone had any luck with the options populating? I'm sure I could do some of them manually (e.g. go on the Qantas store and offset my 'Tassie' property), but I have no idea how to access things like the Qantas wellbeing quiz etc

If you've already done that quiz then you'll just have to wait and see when it reappears again. Maybe 6-12 months after you last did it.

If you request the offset prior to flying those particular sectors, do you need to fly to have them count as a green leaf, or can the green leaf be applied prior to travel? If it’s post travel (which I suspect is the case) how long post flight/s until they take the points and give the leaf?

The leaf applies immediately if you offset your flight at the time of booking.

If you’re lucky… there’s multiple examples in this thread alone of people who haven’t had that happen

I may be wrong, but I think the multiple examples are all people who've applied the offset via MMB after the booking has been created? I was in the same boat and offset a flight using this method months ago. I never received the leaf, so when booking a new flight I lashed out and spent another $1 which applied the leaf virtually immediately (same day)

Nope offset both through manage and through the initial booking and had no luck unfortunately :( and that’s for a few different bookings particularly paying for an offset at time of booking

I offset a flight after booking 4 weeks ago and still no green leaf. I figured I had to take the flight first for it to tick over but I guess it might be more complicated.

Pretty much in the same situation here, offset applied 4 weeks ago with points through MMB.

Interestingly when I called up, the person on the phone said that they could see I had completed the offset and have my 5th leaf, and that my app wasn't refreshed. Wasn't very helpful but I think easier to just book a new flight and select offset when booking.

Annoyingly my flights are booked through corp traveller and therefore I needed to go the MMB route… seems like that route was a dead end though
