Qantas Hotels tips

I looked at qantas hotels when in India, after I'd been impressed with taj in jodhpur and wanted to stay with them in Agra.

Managed to get it cheaper than booking direct, used a $50 voucher and was upgraded to an amazing suite!

Recently got a good deal at Perth Crown Metropol too, similar price on QF hotels, and 9x points on their way

I'm sold on qf hotels now, where hotel programs aren't a goal, and will always check as there's definite value to be had

I agree with you. Qantas does have some good specials and earns (from time to time); rule them in before you rule them out.

The airline points may be more important than hotel status etc. - there is a value proposition here.

Should be in your everyday rewards app, but i also received an email from Qantas Frequent Flyer yesterday promoting it and a link to register

Funny, I got the EDR email and activated. SYD+1 got the QF version and deleted it it..🤦‍♂️ Fortunately it was still available for dumpster diving.

Yes, I am. I think there is no way to write to EDR, other than the chatbot. They deserve a serve.

Checked EDR app again today and the booster now appears, so I boosted. An easy hotel voucher when you already have 1500 EDR points.:)

I've found "slightly" better options on Jetstar hotels - they use the same backend as Qantas Hotels, but quite often they are one or two dollars cheaper with more flexible cancellation options - AND you can pay using Qantas points.
If you do make a booking via Jetstar hotels using Qantas points - it appears on your Qantas list of bookings (under MY BOOKINGS) also.
