Interestingly it says "flights" rather than "bookings" so theoretically a return trip should get 2x 2000 points.

No, I recall it was only “return” fares were on Sale (not unusual, except for NZ).

And from the wording in the email, I would expect to get 4000 points for every return ticket booked during the promo period.

And I guess the next interesting question is - does a QF1 SYD-SIN-LHR then QF2 LHR-SIN-SYD count as just 2 flights - or 4 flights?

I just read the terms for this since I didn't twig it could be 4,000 per flight and my understanding I think it will only be 2000 per booking

So if one were to use a GV for flights booked in this period, are they counted as flight credits for the above purpose? Or would it be 'adding to existing PNR'

I expect the PNR and when it was created is the deciding factor on this, so it's unlikely that your friend (or me, who's done the same) will get a second bite from that cherry

I think that would be more of a question for those who are more experienced in the Dark Arts of Qantas and I'm assuming your friend may already know someone who has such experience

Damn - looks like I will miss out too... but I needed the DSC's more so...
