For security reasons, I rarely use public USB ports (at least for my phone and tablet). Other stuff that just needs a recharge (NC headphones etc) are fare game.Lots of the usb chargers do not work as stuff has gotten inside, or that so many people have used it over the years, and no repairs have been done.
So you can plug in your usb charge cord, if the plug is too cluncky, and there is no electricity coming out of the usb outlet.
Can't even charge a smallish battery bank.
