Ok final time. They said they gave you the wrong answer. I have posted what they say is the correct information.

Yes that was my question yesterday to them, I asked "What if I move up or down in status whilst travelling on a long overseas trip does that mean my card will stop working".

they said it'll work up til the expiry date then they will send a new card with new number.

I also got a comment from Lindsay about using the word "Going down in Status" which is unheard of in AFF circles.

My understanding from yesterday that it would work for several months past expiry of status so they have time to assess and send a new card (unless the card expiry date takes that into account)

Biggest takeaway so far for me, on looking at status during your anniversary cutover, QFF look at your last three years activity ;)

Ahh good, I've had year-on-year improvements in SC earn over the past few years from
2011: 720SCs scraped in as SG
2012: 1910SCs safely made WP
2013: 1840SCs with four months remaining in year

Although a travel policy change next year may make a serious dent into this..

ADL question asked. They'd love to fly out of ADL. Economics are difficult, cost base and all that stuff. 787 may be a game changer.

Also issued a general invite to drinks on 27th sept.

Nice lunch by QF.....amongst the (many) Qs, I asked;), I asked ST whether QF via Red Roo could post both +ve and -ve news / info / changes about QF and their FF progam on AFF ....we would appreciate statements about changes, both good or bad, with a degree of openness and honesty. We would love it if QF answer the difficult Qs posed on AFF even if we may not like the answer. She replied most likely to the affirmative:thumbup:

On the way home on the bus. After beer on arrival, white wine with first course, red with main, champagne with the pav followed by a few cleaning ales, unable to post any photos or anything else! Thank you Qantas it was amazing and informative, and I met one of the three Red Roo's!!

Back in my carriage home.
Thank you Qantas for a delicious lunch & some very interesting conversations.
My first AFF event, nice to meet some of you & great to put faces to names!

Loved my lunch. The meals were so big.
Thank you to everyone who chatted with me - again, I am quite shy so I don't do the room mingle thing.
Thank you to QANTAS and Rockpool for having me.
Based on the discussion today and our move away from Credit Card for everyday purchases (to stop us blowing our budget while we save for an investment property) and back to the debit card system, it is nice to know I now have a way to keep the points earn up :)

My Qcash card arrived while I was at lunch.
I am a little sad the pink middle is now gone. I am not sure I want to swap the cards over just yet.

Soo much food.. it was great.

Thanks allot Qantas, it was great to hear about the product and I look forward to using it..

Just left two AFfers chilling in the BNE CL before their flights to TSV and CNS, what another wonderful event, a big thankyou to the QF Loyalty team yet again, there may not be first class domestically but that's the only way I can describe today and the work of the QF Loyalty team in general!

I've always wondered about that, is it styled the same as the others I've heard about, as it seems to be a smaller space (overlooking the checkin hall right)?

Much smaller obviously and less in the style of a green F lounge, it was very nice, feel somewhat sad I was not able to enjoy it for much longer than I did, but very much grateful for the opportunity!

Thanks for the fantastic lunch QF Loyalty - well done. I look forward to my card arriving and giving it a burl in NZ in a couple of weeks.

Lunch was amazing. I was also pleased to be "talent" for Red Roo.*

Wonderful to meet a number of new people, maybe even including one of the moderation team for the first time. ;)

* signing a talent release must mean I'm talent....
