Other option is a Stat Dec which is outrageous just to prove that we are in a Defacto Relationship.

StatDec doesn't really prove you are in a Defacto Relationship, it is just documenting that you assert that you are.

In the circumstances, of having already admitted one breach, probably best to just go with the flow...

Agree with that. Although, when you make the declaration, you are aware of the potential consequences if the declaration is untruthful (i.e., a criminal offence)

Frankly I do not see this as unfair by QF - the action I mean.

I mean no offence, but you've already demonstrated a breach of the T&C which gives reasonable grounds for QF to consider all transactions as potentially suspect.

And since your partner obviously does not share the same surname - being at the same physical address doesn't prove being de factor status at all. They could be a room mate, a friend, heck someone using your address etc.

I suspect they suspended your partner's account to prevent potential movement of points from there ASSUMING this was some attempt at fraud.

I believe you that this is your partner and it's all above board, but from the POV of QF they can't trust that given what you've already done.

Hope it gets sorted out soon for you.

Yep should be all good. Going in to get them both signed by a JP today.

From what I have seen on other posts where Q require a stat dec, they normally reinstate points etc within a few hours.

At least you were honest with QF. I've lost track of the posts from people transferring points to whomever, including for money, complaining their account was suspended and thinking the T&Cs don't apply to them.

I wonder if it also is affected by the "family member " relationship chosen ?
My husband "wicked stepfather " has transferred points to my son numerous times . Different surname . Also transferred to me , different surname
He hasn't been asked to justify . I think I have also sent points to my Dil who has yet another surname
OP hope it all gets sorted .

I would hope that QF security has a few checks to mainly sort the wheat from the chaff.

And a dil in there as well. 😀
