Qantas partnership with BP

They tore down the St Peters one, (AMPM Agostino run BP), and will make a new one later on, ... but will maybe be 12/18 months.
So sad as it was the closest one to me, now I have to go to the one on Henley Beach Road.
The one on St Bernards Road only sells fuel and chocolates, but no sandwiches, yes, I know, woe is me!
This is all for SA, that is, where there are very few BP owned by AMPM in the suburbs, 5/6 at the most, lots more in the hills and up north.
Lucky for the rest of you colleagues, have a lot of choices of BP interstate.
If anyone is visiting South Aust, don't confuse the BP operated by OTR, as its not in the BP rewards system, even though they carry the BP logo, or used to/some still do.

Received a double points offer, which is incredibly misleading.

The main heading of the email says "Enjoy double Qantas Points when you fill up at bp!"

Further down it says "To earn double Qantas Points, simply activate your offer, then visit bp and purchase fuel!

HOWEVER, if you scroll way down to the T&C, in point 3 it says - "Purchase both an eligible fuel product and an eligible in-store shop item..."

I filled up 3 days ago and no bonus points arrived (it says bonus points will arrive within 48 hours), so I checked the offer again and found the wording in the T&C.

BP offers have always stated upfront about what is required.

Yes very misleading.
I'm off on my little useless self protest against BP now, ha.

I never know how whoever's responsibility it is to get these offers misleading on such a scale.
It couldn't be done is purpose Shirley!

Who knows. I checked the bp rewards website and the T&C in the offer doesn't mention an in-store purchase requirement.

Looks like the IT intern did the 1st one with the incorrect date! Couldn’t register with the 1st but the 2nd worked…
I received a third email yesterday so best to activate again?

Due to an error in our system, we recently sent you two emails for double Qantas Points on fuel and in one of these emails you were unable to activate your offer. We apologise for the inconvenience. To activate your offer, click the button below.

I didn't get a 3rd offer. 2 offers are confusing enough !

Thanks for the heads up AisleSeat. I'll make sure I buy myself a treat.

I don't drive and people in my place go el cheapo for fuel.
So I ignored their last fuel offer, then got that sorry email, so I sent a "contact us" email to them saying I don't drive and not a lot of places to earn bp reward points in South Aust.
Can't do a direct reply as its from a no reply email sender.
Guess if people want to send them feedback best to use their "contact us" link at bottom of email.
Not straight reply.
I will wait and see if a human replies, or a bot does to my message to them.

Earn 5x Qantas Points when you fill up and shop at bp

^ highlighting for emphasis as I've been caught by one of these before - you need to purchase something in-store to get the 5x (can't be the usual ineligible items like tobacco, gift cards, etc)

Must admit though, its a great way to keep our QFF account alive, for minimum spending without flying or outlaying a tonne of $.
Apart from EDR/WWR where we need a min of 2000 EDR/WWR points before we can get the 1000 QFF points.
As I mumbled previously, I don't drive, and flying is hard at the moment, even though a lot of Aust is vaccinated against covid, but still, the other states have a large number of cases, versus South Aust, so no flying for now, either with QF or VA or the others.

5x Qantas Points with Ultimate 98, or double Qantas Points for all other fuels
