Qantas doesn't pay Jetstar's airport charges.. They have completely different charges.

I would argue that airports have much higher profit margins than airlines do.. At least MEL / SYD etc.

I think Sydney makes more on car parking than planes.

Parking and Ground Transport includes revenue from Taxis, Buses, Private Limos etc. and not just car parking. Only 11% of total revenue compared to 51% for Aeronautical Services.

This 2018 matter remains in the courts. But Perth Airport and Qantas have resolved a further dispute which broke out earlier this year (was mentioned recently OT in another thread). Quite the soap opera.

I thought "Domestic airfares are at their highest in my time." was rather humorous. I can recall the firm regularly paying more than $900 rtn for my Y tickets ADL-MEL Return before the QF-AN duopoly collapse.

The issue from 2018 is not resolved - there's a directions hearing later this year.
