Qantas Points Club Discussion

They're on mine, as a bog-standard PC member... and unlikely to be used.

Cheers,
Matt.

If you decide not use them then please make them available on the AFF Free threads. I hate to see any vouchers given away by Qantas go to waste.
yep - would do that, if it's getting closer and still the same view on use

I don’t have this feature either and I’m a PC+. Think it’s because I never received a voucher generated by the system as my birthday was before they launched the wine/hotel vouchers program and I had to instead get them manually generated by the customer support teams.

FWIW only the Qantas Wine vouchers are connected to your birth date, whereas Qantas Hotels vouchers are connected to your membership anniversary.

I received one in May (shortly after the benefit was announced as I was already Points Club Plus) and then one in July at the start of my membership year. Going off their screenshot @dairyfloss would be in the same boat but with a September membership anniversary.

I have a $50 voucher if anyone wants it.

edit: hotel voucher
edit: gone to a good home.

I joined the hallowed ranks of PC this week, receiving an Email confirming this yesterday¶. I have "opted-in to 'Exclusive offers for Qantas Frequent Flyers'.

When should I expect to see a Hotel Voucher?

¶ (helped by converting two years worth of Woolworths rewards from "Bank for Christmas" - Now PC until end of October 2023.

I think it would be shortly after your next membership anniversary.
I guess I should read the fine print:

^^
Points Club members will receive a $50 Qantas Hotels voucher for each Membership Year they attain Points Club. Vouchers will be sent within 21 days of attaining Points Club. You must have a valid email address and be opted in to receive 'Exclusive offers for Qantas Frequent Flyer Members' email marketing to receive the voucher. ...

I have a membership anniversary of 1 Jan and birthday in March. I was a PC+ member at the start of this membership year but did not receive any of the vouchers and when I enquired about them I was told by Qantas that since my birthday was before the launch of this benefit in May I have effectively missed out.

However after some consistent pushing, I managed to get a $100 hotel voucher but no wine voucher.

Also does anyone know if you receive the basic PC wine/hotel vouchers even if you are a PC+? For example if I am a PC+, will I receive both the $50 hotel voucher (from normal PC) plus the $100 hotel voucher (from PC+).

No, not both. That’s why PC+ is double value.

Can anyone with PC or PC+ confirm whether or not rewards flights count as sectors for achieving/retaining status? I think not, but wanted to confirm based on experiences.

Do you mean as part of the four required flights to retain status? Yes, reward flights do count. Also the 10 SC earned for being PC count. But the four sectors has nothing to do with Points Club. Am I missing something in your question? 🤔

edit: as per post #250, my lips are sealed.

Understood, thanks.

does one receive an additional $100 qantas hotels club voucher if one has already received a $59 QH voucher on previously attaining points club at a previous date ?

Are you only able to roll over status credits for one membership year? My membership year just ended yesterday and only 15 status credits were rolled over while the remaining 85 status credit were expired.
