Qantas Points Club Discussion

Yes that was my reading too. I was wondering if anyone had successfully transferred from two separate accounts to their own. (Always good to have one's interpretation confirmed in practice!)

So I take it that those 12k points came from more than one account?
They came from our Business Qantas account. Our Amex business card accrues these. And I then transfer them to my account. I expect if you had two business accounts it wouldn't matter but no more than 20000 total.

Is this a PC+ or any Points Club offer?

Rather than starting another thread, thought I'd post here:

Hi Exceladdict,

Want to be rewarded as you shop? Simply use 60,000 Qantas Points or spend $500 in a single transaction storewide at Qantas Marketplace by 14 September 2023, and you'll be eligible to receive a $50 Qantas Marketplace voucher, redeemable on your choice of a $50 digital gift card.

I don't think Gift Cards can be purchased with cash, so probably not going to be utilising this myself.

This is a general offer, not exclusive to PC (they've been promoting it on the Marketplace home page since the weekend I think).

I have gone back several pages in this thread, not seeing anything, so will ask:

In the past when I have made Qantas Hotel bookings, the printed confirmation page has shown the "total" of my expected points, ie. base + any specials (6 or 9 point bonus) PLUS my PC+ 50% on top.

The last few bookings I have made the print out is only showing the base points. I have kept screen captures of all bookings, as on the screen it shows expected total points.
cks.jpg

above shows 1701 total points, made up of 6 point sale + 50% PC+

Today only 1134 points hit my account, (missing my PC+) to be told that "hotels" pay the base points at 4 weeks after stay, and that QFF will pay my PC+ bonus points at 8 weeks after stay.

Has anyone else had this experience?
Has your points landed weeks later being PC+

Not my experience I've had 3 Qantas Hotel stays post this last month and the PC bonus points have always posted the same day (but Im not PC+) - averaging about 4 weeks for the stays to post,

Nope, always landed same day - although usually separate transactions.

Yes, the PC+ bonus will come as a separate lump - but in my experience (from a stay in June 2023) at the same time as the base points.

Perhaps it's just monday-itis, but PC not showing. here's hoping that Nina at QFF is wrong regarding having to wait another 4 weeks.

Yeah, this was double points promo and pc+ all came through at once

Also, i have to say this was my 3rd stay at The Star in Sydney through Qantas hotels, and the second time i was upgraded - from a basic room to darling harbour view apartment 😁

The strangest thing happen (or maybe not). I achieve PC+ this year and was expecting my PC+ status to last till 30 Sept 2024.

However, my points from PC+ wasn't reset and now counts towards 2024 membership. I.E. PC+ membership is now till 30 Sept 2025. Anyone experienced the same?

Given the PH in NSW where QF IT is based, more likely they have not run the job yet to reset the tally. Probably happen tomorrow once workers are back.

Yes, expecting it to be reset, might be a bit longer until the 100sc rollover comes through as well

Yes - I experienced that, last month… for about 2 days. Don’t worry; QF are always accurate when it comes to taking something away 😉

I’m PC+ and had a question about SC’s on classic reward tickets. I flew an Emirates first class flight classic rewards redemption recently (booked through Qantas) and even though it was advertised as a QF codeshare when looking it up on the Qantas website (QF8404), the actual ticket only has the EK flight number (EK404).

What are my chances of getting the SC’s for this flight?

Unless you were disrupted and booked into a commercial fare class .…. pretty much zero.
