But wine wasn’t viable for Miss H given her age and thought the quick posting of points was worth noting.

This is fascinating - you managed to qualify a minor for Points Club?!

I would have thought the lack of churning and 20k flying cap would make it practically impossible. Has it mostly been through gift card purchases? Really interested in how you've managed it!

This may belong in the IT Gripes thread but anyway.

Final day of my QFF Membership year and Points Club, I’m 11 SC short of hitting 500 SC for the year required for the 50 SC loyalty bonus.

Flew ADL-MEL this morning in a J reward seat, land and see my activity statement has recorded the flight as Classic Reward and given me 0 SC rather than the 18 SC I should have received. My flight home is a revenue fare this evening which will land me on 499 SC, one short of the bonus without the activity statement being corrected.

I have screenshots of my QFF showing my balances and my boarding pass. I’ll have to chase them up tomorrow to get the SC credited and hope that loyalty reward bonus if offered to me and can be credited in the 2024/25 membership year as I’d been planning.

Anyway, I just wanted to whinge and get that frustration out. I feel better having written that.

SCs failing to post for Classic Awards seems almost the norm for me.

I’ve had 12 Classic Award flights this year and SC have only posted automatically for 2 of them.

Relentlessly frustrating.
Any idea why?

I’ve never had one not credit (in fact, I can’t remember the last time a QF operated flight hasn’t credited).

It all started with an involuntary re-route on a four-sector trip in February.

My ORC claim for that trip was accepted but after the manual intervention I was still missing SC for one sector.

When I followed up on that last sector something went really wrong.

SC for the missing sector were added but my Lifetime SC tally dropped by about 60 SC. 🤷‍♂️

I'm now approaching five months trying to get that issue sorted and every flight since Feb has had issue crediting.

FYI for those who purchase from Qantas Marketplace, bonus points have been 'extended' again but have been reduced:
  • 4 points per dollar for PC (previously 6)
  • 5 points per dollar for PC+ (previously 9)
On until 30 September 2024.

Called this morning and they told me it would credit in the next 24-48 hours. I'll believe it when I see it, but relatively painless.

Interestingly I've just had (if i recall correctly) my first ever PC flight SCs not credit automatically on/around the day of landing. Only 36h after landing at time of writing atm but it usually doesn't take this long.

I had to call again yesterday to follow up.

After a bit of messing around the Classic Business Reward SCs were credited.

When I asked when I should expect the Loyalty Reward Bonus to be offered to me in the app/account the person on the phone informed me that Classic Business Reward SCs didn't count. I told him that all the previous Classic Reward SCs I had earned had all counted, so this should as well. After he spoke to a manager they agreed with me and late yesterday the Loyalty Reward Bonus was available in my account.

A little frustrating to have to call again, but good result in the end.

Let me guess: you were speaking to Manila.

And it's now posted. Strange delay but better than needing to call.

Can someone remind me whether Points Club Plus SC rollover are expected to count to LTSC?

Have just entered a new membership year while on status hold. I retained PC+ last year. My PC+ tracker has reset to 0 and shows I have 12 months to regain PC+, which seemingly does not pause with status hold (which is fine)

My PC+ SC rollover posted but with 0 SC. Trying to work out whether I've missed out on 100 LTSC.
