If you cancel your initial qualifying booking or change it to be outside the promotional period, the offer will not apply. All bookings must be new to be eligible. Any new segments added to an existing PNR during the promotional period will not be eligible. Existing PNR for the purpose of this promotion means a PNR booked outside of the 24 February 2025 to 2 March 2025 . Bookings made using flight credits issued prior to 24 February 2025 are eligible for this offer. Flight credits issued after 24 February 2025 will not be eligible for this offer. Points may be earned on multiple eligible flight bookings made during the promotional period. Other Points Club or Points Club Plus passengers in the same booking must book separately to be eligible for this offer. Flights are subject to availability and any applicable fare conditions. Flights can be booked via the Qantas website including the Qantas App, the Qantas Business Rewards Account, a travel agent, or Qantas Contact Centres. Fees and charges may apply. Flight gift vouchers purchased during the promotion but not redeemed for an eligible flight booking during the promotion period will not earn bonus Qantas Points. In accordance with Commonwealth policy, this offer is not available to those travelling for Commonwealth purposes.

I tried searching this thread for an answer but couldn't really find an answer...could be me... and so I'm wondering:

What happens if i have a paid Qantas Club membership, but hit PC+?

Do I get a freeze for the duration of the paid membership which resumes after PC+ membership runs out?
Do I just lose the balance of the QC membership paid?
Get a pro-refund of QC?
Something else?

Thanks!

I'm guessing that QF won't give you anything, but it might be worth phoning and asking. It probably depends on your status too.

Shame about the promo. We just booked flights last week, oops! Does it work with domestic legs on an international ticket?

Same also applies also if you reach Gold or higher. The paid QP balance is sitting there on ice.

When you hit LTG you get a prorata refund
Yes.

I didn't bother when I hit LTG ten years ago. I worked out I probably had less than $50 credit from a 3 yr CoA QP corp rate that I bought in 1998 or 99 (for $175!). But I ended having status for most that time anyway apart from a quiet year or two somewhere along the way!

I didn’t…
You have to request it. It's not automatic.

I hit LTG in June 2011. Don’t think a refund was available then…

Nothing happens to the paid QC i believe. I think it's just "frozen" until PC+ runs out. The only case I've heard of them refunding QC is if you hit LTG.

Has anyone transferred QBR points to their account? How long do they take to post?

Find myself in the unexpected position of possibly hitting PC right before my membership year ends but would need to top up with about 10,000 points.

OT, but it should have been. There's another thread discussing it. Pretty sure peeps refer to hitting LTG even before 2011 and getting refunds (LTG was introduced around 2001).

Instant I believe?

You may well be right. It’s all lost in the mists of time for me…
