Qantas Points with Afterpay

Mine came through as well. My first purchase was a couple of weeks ago (after account being dormant for more than a year). I'm guessing they may have a set day each month when they credit the points.

Considering PayPal is set to enter the buy now pay later space it appears that AfterPay offering Qantas points is a good enticement over using PayPal. However, this could now spell the end for many BNPL operators.

I had made three transactions with AfterPay over a couple of weeks and all three credited on 3 September, for the full amount of the purchase (not what I had already paid back).

Got this Email today, Not sure if "pointless" (appropriate pun)
considering its nearly May.

Congratulations

The article is not entirely accurate.. you can already use PayPal on qantas flight purchases and then use the PayPal pay in 4 option.. that’s been around for quite some time now.
I don't think the article states PayPal at all. It's called Zip Pay.
But going by what you said, credit card providers also can offer that.

The pressers states “Qantas to offer buy now, pay later option for flights for the first time

Technically, you‘ve been able to PayPal in 4 instalments for some time.

Of course, if you book your flight well in advance, it’ll probably be paid in full by the time you fly. Details, details… 😀

And already on other airlines... Or am I reading too much into the claim?
