Qantas Premier Credit Card

No limit on my offers which started in March. 10 week wait means I should see first tranche of points in my 20 June statement. I did however stay under the 10K per statement period but still expecting just over 110K in bonus points earned to date

Had my first 'bonus' points posted from the promo...way off the amount it should be with a 5x offer. Looks like I need to make a call and start that journey.

Update: they are investigating, should know within a week...

My wife applied for this card and it took her about 2 weeks, and a few phone calls as well, to get approved. But she got there.

Just got approved today..
Has anyone seen the new promotion?
"20,000 bonus Qantas Points will be awarded each month when you spend $1,500 or more on eligible purchases per month, for a total of 120,000 points over the first 6 months"

Seems alot better than the previous one which I am stuck with :(

Yep, more points for a slightly higher fee. Agree it is better - but you never know - sometimes the offers get worse.

Same thing here.

The promo I signed up for, was for 2019 Feb, spend $2500 get 5 x QF points.

I spent $2670 x 4 = 10680 QF points, but my QF account shows 20/5/19 bonus entry 8012. I just called up Qantas Premier customer service, told her I should get another 2000 points or so, she said that I actually spent $3000+ eligible (I have no idea how she got that $3000+ from because I could not add up $3000 worth of spend from my 2 statements) and so I should have been given approximately 12000 points, and also hence she would just throw 4000 points in my account.

Okiieee

Just applied for this card.
In the last section to upload documents, it showed a section for proof of income and proof of employment. Payslip was available as an option for both.
I put a payslip under proof of income and hit upload. That completed the entire application and I didn’t have a chance to put it under proof of employment as well.
Hopefully this won’t be an issue but I have my concerns with Citibank.

Current promo sees 120,000 Qantas pts earned after spending $1,500 per month for the first 6 months.

I can't find anywhere in the T&C's that would preclude a previous member from re-signing up and earning the bonus points.

Personal Experience anyone?

Just received my first lot of triple bonus points but no idea which period it relates to or how the amount was calculated. It much less than I was expecting. Will have to call them this evening to get clarity.

Just a follow up, finally got a result (after chasing them for, got an extra 5000 points for that) and they are crediting the missing bonus points of about 50k plus the original 20k in points on the next payment cycle. Not sure how they calculated the points amount but it is over what I had recorded so I'll agree with it.

Now we wait to see if it all comes through.

Also they said their were errors in the bonus point calc for the first round of the promotion and should be fine for the next, so lets see about that also!

Got approved for the 120,000 points over 6 months promo. Now I'm thinking that month pretty clearly means calendar month, and it says first 6 months from approval which includes this month as much as I can fathom, so I am going to have to hit it hard on arrival to make the first month's spend (only $1,500 but still...). Lucky I saved up a pile of bills in anticipation.

How does the $1500 pm for 20,000 pts work?

Is it credited 20,000 per month you meet the spend or must you meet the whole 6 months then get the 120,000?

Mrs NoName slowly moving towards being approved for this 120k pt offer. They asked her to provide rental statements despite no indication in the application of us renting. Got someone in the call centre who didn’t appear to understand and kept parroting “rental statements” before we hung up. Called the approvals area this morning to be told it was a system glitch. They asked all sorts of questions to confirm identity despite all being included in the application. Eventually all good so hoping for approval shortly.

Oops! Spoke too soon! Mrs NoName received another email this morning along the same lines asking for further documents (doesn’t specify which docs). Needless to say she is getting a little agitated with their BS so suspect someone is going to cop it when she calls later this morning.
