Did anyone get this:

Dear Bundy Bear,
ei

It's a great time to be a Qantas Premier Platinum Credit Card cardholder because we're giving you 5x Qantas Points1 when you spend $2000 or more between 1 February 2019 and 28 February 2019.

I had to register, so don't think its open to everyone.

Just checked my junk email. Nothing.

But wait, today is the 12th already and the offer is 1-28th. Has that just been sent out?

Edit: I'm probably putting too much on that card as it is.

I have had this card since Dec 2018 but haven't received any information about how to access the 2 lounge passes that are included with the card.

I've got a trip to Christchurch coming up April 3 I want to use them for.

Does anyone know how to get the passes?

From home page, I normally click on "Frequent Flyer" tab, then in the section "Qantas Club" there's a link to "manage complimentary invitations"

Direct link: You may find them here after logging into your QFF account:

Awesome. That link worked and my invitations are there. Thank you! :)

The flight SYD-CHC is showing and I can link it.

I was hoping to use them for the return journey, but I'm guessing I can't use this in CHC flying back to SYD because the lounge is not operated by Qantas?

@burmans, interesting ... Did you also receive the sign on bonus under this strategy?

Well I cancelled after I had received my free lounges passes (and annual fee had been charged) and they reversed fee but I kept the passes so I guess it depends when you actually get the points. They told me I had up until the statement payment date to close.

Has anyone else tried to add their Qantas Premier card as a Suncorp Benefits payment method? I keep getting "Adding card failed. Please try again later or contact your bank if the error persists." :(

I've been offered and accepted three times Qantas points for March,
Nice offer! Which reminds me I think I got a similar offer in December but I don't remember getting the bonus points. Hmmm I will have to check back.

Sounds half right. I tried searching the BIN on two different databases - 5268 79 is listed on one as being assigned to TD Canada Trust in Canada, and on the other as being Citibank Pty Ltd in Australia but with a website address of tdcanadatrust.com. Looks like Citibank had no "address space" left, and acquired an unused BIN block from TD Canada Trust bank. Takes a while for that sort of thing to reflect on every BIN database that a merchant might use to do geo blocking.

Fast forward from July 2017 to my post earlier this week, and that's what the problem is. I spoke to someone at Suncorp Benefits who said that they have 5268 79 listed as a card from Canada, and they only allow AU cards. His suggestion was to contact the card issuer. Their suggestion was to contact the merchant.

Oh well. This card is destined for the BIN anyway, once I hit the required spend and receive the bonus points. I just would've got there sooner if I could've used this card for my 5% off Coles e-Gift cards.

Was a little hesitant to apply given people have been getting rejected but bit the bullet this morning anyway. Have never applied for Citi and have one other open card. Closed two at the end of December and credit rating is looking very good. Guess we'll see.

Anyone found a way of communicating on the Qantas money site to send them an email or ask them a question after you get the card?

Received the email last Friday (8th March) for 5 x Points for month

Great timing, getting an air conditioner installed so together with directing some other CC spend will easily hit the 10K point per dollar spend. Wonder if it would still be 5 x for any spend over the 10K

If these offers become more frequent, could be worth making this card a keeper. 50-100K bonus points a year for example is as good as a new credit card application

It seems the somewhat limited capabilities of the website mean you need to call 13 11 31. I recently changed address and had to make a call to do so.

Applied on the weekend. Just received a call where I basically had to confirm my application form details over the phone and was told I would receive an outcome in the next 3-5 business day. Five minutes later received an email to inform me that my application has been approved. Easy peasy.

I had a similar problem with a financial institution (don't recall which one) about two years ago, that said that the card was issued in Singapore. The real problem was that the financial institution was using out of date information (?), which they eventually corrected.

Happy with this card. First statement today with sign on 70K bonus and spending points all credited in my QF account. At 1:1 up to 10K monthly is useful for a while whilst on 12-18 months hold most other cards.
All I need now is an email with 5x points on spend offer.
