I applied for a supplementary QANTAS Premier card for my wife and, somewhat surprisingly, it went through smoothly and quickly. We had the card within a few days.

Citibank call center is quite a pain to deal with. The normal you call is based gets routed to Manila and all you get is agents who are not allowed to deviate from predetermined scripts.

Applied last Monday;approved Tuesday. pleased it went smoothly. Now waiting for card to arrive.

I've had this card for a number of months now and it seems to be all good, with the exception that Yodlee feeds have not been produced, therefore integration with automatic statement downloads in Xero is not possible. I've asked Qantas Cards if they can implement this, but they don't seem to know what I'm talking about.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Mike

So, I had this card earlier this year and closed it about 3 weeks ago. Now I've seen they have bumped the bonus points to 75,000! The T&Cs state that it's only available for new cardholders, so I asked them if I would be considered a new cardholder now and they said YES! I can't find any standard one year exclusion, so I'm applying for this card again! Another 75,000 points will be handy ;-)

I have just got this card aiming get the 75k QFF points bonus. Can someone help if council rate payment will be counted toward the spending target of 3K please? I understand that I won't get any QFF points on council rate spending. TIA.

MattVonOz: can you let us know when you get the 75K bonus pls. it would be good to get 75K for 150$. that would be 300$ + tax for a return J flight to Asia.

From my understanding the 3k spend is just that. As you state points may not be earnt. Have to check the small print on that one. I also have just been approved for this card and lounge passes posted already. So far so good

Just a heads up to anyone who is unsure about applying for this credit card. They will run a credit check on an incomplete application, so don't start the application unless you are sure you will apply.

I answered half of the question on Friday and Veda shows up with an alert over the weekend, not 100% pleased but I did notice they have a paragraph saying a credit check will be completed as soon as you complete page 1, so at least it's not a surprise, I just can't think of another bank who will do a credit check on an incomplete application, feels like it is wasting some people's credit score for no reason if they ended up not applying.

Anyone cancelled this card? I wonder what will happen with the unused Qantas club invitations once the card is cancelled? They are in my Qantas account but can I still use them if I cancel the card?

I've asked the same question but it appears nobody knows the answer to this yet

Random question...

Is everyone receiving statements for this account? I pay in full each pay cycle (fortnightly) as I do with any other accounts but have still to see a statement. When I look online it says no statement has been created yet. I opened this account the week it was launched which I make it to be 7 months. I would have expected a 6 monthly statement maybe... I hate that I have to call them to chase it up.

I am, but I have to use Chrome to view / download them. Firefox doesn't seem to want to work for that part of it.

Had this card approved early December. Spent the $3000 within the first week.
Just got my first statement and bonus points credited and was disappointed to see only 60K instead of 75K.
Anyone else had this? Might I expect to receive the other 15K points separately?

Same happened to me. I phoned them and they said that the 15K points should appear on my next statement.
So I am waiting.

Same here. I have only got 60K QFF points so far. Now i have to wait for the remaining 15K before I can close this card.

Question - has any one cancelled and applied for a second round? The T+C's don't seem to have an exclusion period.
