Just a side note to some other readers; your QF points only get credited to your QF membership account at the end of every billing cycle. I called Amex to ask what had happened with my overdue points (as they had not yet appeared), and was told that they are sitting in my Amex account, ready for transfer at the designated time.

so the amex call centre keep saying - however its funny that my points have been 'waiting' to be transfered for 2 cycles now

Rang today couldn't wait til tomorrow.

Girl said 10000 points put in on 27th Feb and will be transfered next billing cycle and she is chasing up (i hope) my 2 QC invites.

these guys are an absolute joke

after not hearing back from them for over 2 weeks re QC invites, I rang the them again only to be told that the person that took my call that day, emailed the request to the wrong division and therefore they will have to submit it again and I can expect a response in 10 working days!!!

after spitting the dummy and demanding to speak to someone with brains I have been told by the supervisor that she will have an answer to me before 8pm today......somehow I don't believe them!!!

and btw - CHANGE THAT ANNOYING HOLD MUSIC...AAGHHHHHH!!!!!!

well my belief was right.....its 2pm on the next day and still no answer from them!!!

love ya work amex - great customer service!!!

(cant wait to snip the card up after I receive these passes!!!)

(sorry for the 3 in a row posts  )

update:

20k QFF points....check!
2 QC Invites....check!
Canceled amex.....check!

Well 10000 points are in my account. I must have hit wrong icon as I was sure that it would be 12500. Not to worry but had a call from AMEX many days later saying my QC invites would be sent within 10 days. It is almost 3 months since the Qantas spend. That was last week.

Signed wife up couple of week sago. Her first spend was on St. Patricks Day and yet to spend on QF services. The battle begins again

I have received all 20,000 QFF points as promised but no QC passes yet. As most people have had varying experiences don't know how long to wait.

I vaguely remember hearing from someone that QC passes, for those that have had issues, will be sent around 15 March. Is it time to hassle the call centre?

One other thing to check ..... I was reading this thread a few weeks ago and thought "Yeah - where are my QC passes???" Then I remembered that I hadn't done my sorting/filing for a while so I went through the pile of bills/letters in my in-basket. Sure enough, there was a letter from Amex sent late last year with the QC passes imbedded in the page.

So just in case you are senile (like me) it may be worth checking all correspondence.

Cheers,

Andrew

Several days later 2 QC passes arrived from QFF centre.

I have now received all that was promised!

Yesterday when I arrived home and started sorting through the mail I saw an envelope with a Qantas Logo and my heart leapt as my passes had arrived..........

But Alas it was a promo from the wine club
